An Alabama native, Former Fox and MGM Music executive Jonathan Watkins is both an independent music publisher with hit songs for Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, Jameson Rodgers and Miranda Lambert as well as a music supervisor for films 12 STRONG, SIERRA BURGESS IS A LOSER and the Oscar Nominated film SICARIO and it’s sequel SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO. His recent films include REPTILE (not yet released) and DEVOTION. Jonathan was also the soundtrack and publishing admin for Electronic Arts Music but is now focusing on Supervision and Publishing for his companies Ernest Entertainment and Watsky Music. He is a member of Belmont University’s Music Business Advisory Board and the Motion Pictures Board. In 2019 Jonathan was also nominated for a Music Supervisor Award for his work on SIERRA BURGESS IS A LOSER and is a member of the Guild Of Music Supervisors, CMA, ACM and NARAS.
